MSCR Youth Coach Pitch - Summer 2026

Registration for the 2026 Summer season IS OPEN!!!

Instructional, coed program for students entering grades 2-3. MSCR staff and volunteer adult coaches lead an instructional baseball program that emphasizes fundamental skills, team play and sportsmanship. Coaches pitch to batters and an “incrediball” sized baseball is used. 

Players register individually and are placed on a team. Fee includes a t-shirt.

Important Information:

• Players must be the correct grade/age stated at the time the program starts.
• Practices/Games are approximately 1 hour, scheduled at either 5:30, 6:20, or 7:10 pm. 
  
• Practice schedules and team rosters will be sent via email approximately one week prior to the first day of the program. 
• Deadline to request a friend/sibling is May 25.

Fall 2026 - Flag Football - Fall 2026

This league is geared to teach young players the essential skills of football. This is a minimal contact league that emphasizes safety, fundamentals and fun above all.

Each player receives a flag set.

• Games are played on weekdays. First week of the program is a practice, coaches may schedule additional practices.
• Register for either the  2-3,or 4-5 division.

Grades 2-3:

• Practice and games start Tuesday, September 15, and run through October 20.

• Time: 5 - 6:30 PM

Grades 4-5:

• Practice and games start Thursday, September 17, and run through October 22

• Time: 5 - 6:30 PM

Volunteer coaches are essential to the success of this program!!!

Fall 2026 - Girls Flag Football - Fall 2026

• Time: 5 - 6:30 PM

Instructional, coed program for students entering grades K-1. MSCR staff and volunteer adult coaches teach fundamental baseball skills, team play, and sportsmanship. The first two evenings are team practices, followed by an instructional six game season. 

Players register individually and are placed on a team. Fee includes a t-shirt.
