Coaches Registration Process & Information

We need parents and non-parents to volunteer to coach! No experience necessary! Responsibilities are to run assist the MSCR during practice and coach the games. Training opportunity provided! Printed support materials provided! 

Coaching Expectations

1. Parents are requested and needed to volunteer to coach. Training is provided; there are many new coaches each season.

2. All coaches, new or returning, must register as a coach for the new season, so we do not assume that you will be back. We need to know. You will need to enroll yourself as a volunteer if you would like to coach.

3. Coaches are asked to also educate themselves on how to best coach youth. MSCR provides some coach’ training. Coaches can request that other parents that have coaching experience assist as possible.

4. Coaches are asked to set team lineups for games, set defensive positions, manage their team in the dugout, and communicate with parents as needed.

Registration

1. All coaches must complete the volunteer application form here.

   1.  Instructions can be found by clicking the download tab at the top of the page.

2. New coaches and returning coaches (wanting to coach again) must enroll as a volunteer (coach). After you enroll your child(ren), hit the enroll tab again and choose volunteer. We do not assume that you will coach each season, as you may elect not to.
